Super Fast Easter Eggs

Earlier this week I wanted to indulge the girls in something Eastery (a new word), but was am lazy and didn't want a mess or a lot of work. We ended up looking through Ed Emberly art for inspiration and created simple designs on our pre-lunch  eggs.

While not the most professional medium, we used dry watercolors with a wet finger.  It worked well.  You need to let the eggs dry a few minutes before adding details with a sharpie marker.

We still plan on the egg-dye-palooza tomorrow or Saturday, although I could live without it this year and still sleep soundly.  But, it was a quick, fun project.  Enjoy!
